Privacy policy
This policy covers every App published by Kagan Mert. It is short because the Apps ask for very little.

What every App does#
No accounts#
You do not create an account with the Apps. Apple may ask you to authenticate with your Apple Account when you purchase or restore access.
No advertising tracking#
The Apps contain no ads or advertising attribution SDKs and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. Purchase verification, usage counts, and performance diagnostics are described below.
No selling#
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with data brokers. The service providers described below process data to operate the relevant App features.
Children's privacy#
The Apps are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through an App, contact us using the address below.
Local by default#
What you type stays on your device unless an App exception below says otherwise.
App exceptions#
App-specific data use, the service providers involved, and the retention periods managed by our own services are described below.
Guessy · Create With AI#
When you generate a custom deck, the topic you type and a random install ID are sent to a server I operate, which forwards the topic to Google's Gemini API to write the words. A fingerprint of the topic, request status, and generated words are stored in Upstash Redis for up to 7 days after the last status update so an interrupted request can be recovered without spending another allowance. Manually entered words and deck names are not sent to this service. Your saved decks and local drafts remain on your device. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in AI topics.
Guessy · Purchases and restored access#
Apple handles subscription billing. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription information with your install ID to verify Guessy Pro access, reflect renewals or expiry, and restore eligible purchases. This includes existing Lifetime access. Purchase-related records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat and are not covered by the short AI-storage retention periods below.
Guessy · Install ID and daily allowances#
A random install ID is created on your device and shown in Options. It is used for RevenueCat purchase management, AI allowances, and support if you send it to us. Our server hashes install and verified purchase identifiers for daily usage accounting so Pro allowances can be shared across restored devices. Daily usage records in Upstash Redis expire 48 hours after their last access. The ID does not require your name or email, but it links these App activities and is not used for advertising.
Guessy · Anonymous usage counts#
Guessy reports anonymous app usage metrics, such as how many devices opened it, through Expo EAS Insights. No name, email, account, or advertising identifier is involved, and nothing you type is included.
Guessy · Performance diagnostics#
Expo Observe processes technical app and device information and performance measurements, including startup timings, to help us identify performance problems. This is separate from advertising tracking. These service-managed diagnostics are not covered by the AI-storage retention periods above.
Changes and contact#
If a future App needs to send data off the device, this page gains a new exception before that App is released, and the effective date above changes.
